BHEL Dividend 2026: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna PSU, has announced its highest-ever dividend since 2015. The PSU made the announcement along with its Q4FY26 results.
In an exchange filing, BHEL said that its board has recommended a final dividend of 70 per cent per share of Rs 2 face value. This translates into Rs 1.40.
"The Board has recommended Final Dividend of Rs. I .40 per share of Rs 2 each (i .e. @ 70% on the paid up share capital of the Company) for FY 2025-26," BHEL said in a filing.
BHEL Dividend 2026: AGM Approval
BHEL said that the payment of dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the upcoming AGM. If approved at the AGM, the dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders within 30 days of the AGM.
"Final Dividend, if declared by the Company in the Annual General Meeting shall be paid/ dispatched within 30 days from the date of Annual General Meeting," BHEL said.
BHEL Dividend History
The dividend of Rs 1.40 is the highest ever amount by BHEL since 2015, according to BSE data.
In August 2025, BHEL had paid a dividend of Re 0.50 to its investors on each share of Rs 2 face value. In 2024, the PSU had paid Re 0.25 as a dividend.
Back in 2023 and 2022, BHEL had rewarded its investors by paying them a dividend of Re 0.40 each year.
