Noida International Airport Launched, Stocks In Focus: The Noida International Airport was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday (March 28, 2026). The Noida International Airport is located in the Jewar area.
This is the first Phase of the Noida International Airport. Phase 1 of Noida International Airport has been developed at an investment of Rs 11,200 crore.
The launch of Noida International Airport also opens new investment avenues. From airline to logistics to real estate, several stocks are expected to remain in focus. Let's take a look at the list of important stocks that will be in action:
1. InterGlobe Aviation (IndiGo): IndiGo is a domestic airline. It has more than 60 per cent share in India's air traffic.
2. SpiceJet: SpiceJet is another airline which is listed on the bourse. SpiceJet also operates flights across the country.
3. Tech Mahindra: Tech Mahindra is an IT services company. Tech Mahindra has announced that it will play a crucial role in Noida International Airport's technology infrastructure. Tech Mahindra will set up the integrated Network and Security Operations Centre (NOC-SOC).
4. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC): Indian Oil is an oil market company. Indian Oil is a Maharatna PSU. Indian Oil will provide fueling services at the Noida International Airport.
5. Delhivery, Blue Dart Express: Several logistics stocks like Delivery, Blue Dart Express and more will be in focus. The Noida International Airport has a multi-modal cargo hub. In the first phase, it can handle over 2.5 lakh metric tonnes annually. This is expandable to 18 lakh metric tonnes.
