Tata Steel Share Price Target 2026: Domestic brokerage firm Anand Rathi is bullish on Tata Steel shares and has recommended Buy rating. Anand Rathi said that the implementation of the CBAM in January 2026 has coincided with a sustained uptrend in EU steel prices, with spot prices improving nearly $100/tonne over the past three months.
Anand Rathi also highlighted that Tata Steel continues to strengthen its India footprint with the commissioning of 0.75 million tonnes EAF facility at Ludhiana, taking domestic capacity to 27.35 million tonnes.
Tata Steel Share price target 2026: Margin Expansion
The combination of firm EU pricing, domestic strength, an improving product mix and expected price hikes in automotive contracts from April 2026 will drive margin expansion.
Anand Rathi has set the Tata Steel share price target 2026 at Rs 240.
The Tata steel share target price offers an upside of Rs 45 or 25 per cent from Wednesday's (April 1, 2026) closing price of Rs 194.85.
The brokerage also mentioned that UK operations are approaching breakeven and continued domestic scale-up toward 40m tonnes capacity and it ssee durable earnings trajectory emerging for Tata Steel.
Further, the brokerage firm said that the implementation of tighter UK import quotas from July 2026 is likely to materially reduce import pressure, benefiting UK operations. This should create a more level playing field, aiding order book stability and utilisation.
The brokerage firm expects Tata Steel's UK business to turn ‘back into the black’ by Q4 FY27, marking a key turnaround milestone.
