Tata Steel shares are in focus after the company announced its Q4FY26 results, along with a final dividend of Rs 4 per share. Post this, ICICI Securities has maintained a BUY rating on Tata Steel shares and also raised the target price.

ICICI Securities has set the Tata Steel share price target at Rs 250, up from the previous target of Rs 226.

The brokerage said that Tata Steel's spread is improving across businesses and that the outlook is improving for EU and UK businesses.

Tata Steel Q4 Results FY26 Highlights

Tata Steel Q4 profit FY26: Rs 2,965 crore (Q4FY25 profit Rs 1,201 crore)

Tata Steel Q4 total income FY26: Rs 63,518.60 crore (Q4FY25 Rs 56,679.11 crore)

Tata Steel FY26 profit: Rs 10,885.82 crore

Tata Steel FY26 total income: Rs 2,33,541.72 crore

ICICI Securities noted that the management of Tata Steel has guided for a robust Q1FY27 outlook, as higher realisations in India, the Netherlands, and the UK comfortably outpace a USD 15 per tonne increase in coking coal costs. This should generate healthy EBITDA per tonne and strong cash inflow. They will neutralise any potential volume impact.

At the end of Q4, Tata Steel's consolidated net debt stood at Rs 801 billion vs Rs 818 billion in Q3.

ICICI Securities said that Tata Steel's upcoming capex towards volume expansion and cost rationalisation could be funded through internal accruals, preventing any increase in net debt.

Tata Steel Dividend 2026 Record Date

Tata Steel said that its board has fixed June 12 as the record date.

The company said that the dividend, if approved at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM), will be paid on and from Monday, July 6, 2026.
